Last Stop: Bristol 26th July

Very excited to be playing in Bristol on the 26th of July with local art-rockers, Yama Warashi's front-woman, Yoshino Shiguri, AND my very talented florist designer cousin, Ellen Kenny, of
It's All Pretty Wild , who will do our stage design for the night. Hopefully the first of many horticultural collaborations!

Yama Warashi, meaning small, child-like mountain spirit, are a Bristol based art rock ensemble fronted
by Zun Zun Egui’s Yoshino Shigihara. Inspired by Japanese folk dance, free jazz, tribal African music and
heavily saturated in psychedelia, their music is lyrically outlandish and charming, melodically addictive and
mythical.
Their 2016 LP, ‘Moon Egg’ (Stolen Body Recordings) appeared on BBC Introducing, the British
Underground, Radio 3’s Late Junction, BBC6 Music, The Wire Magazine, and The Skinny, and Loud Quite
blogs. Live performances include Latitude Festival, Green Man and support slots with of Flamingods, This is
the Kit and Dakha Brakha.
